Twitter user claims FBI agents are in Nigeria to catch more 'Yahoo' boys

A Twitter user identified as @gospeljosiah has claimed that United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents are currently in Nigeria to nab more 'Yahoo' boys

 - This is supposedly happening shortly after 80 Nigerians were arrested by the agency for massive fraud and money laundering in the US

- According to @gospeljosiah the FBI is working with informants and there is an Interpol extradition team on standby

While many Nigerians have reacted to the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrest of 80 Nigerians for massive fraud and money laundering in the US, with most stating that the fraudsters are ruining the country's image, it is being said that more 'Yahoo' boys are to be caught and added to the list.

Recently, a Twitter user identified as @gospeljosiah shared a post in which he claimed that FBI agents are currently in Nigeria, working with informants and getting set to arrest more internet fraudsters who are mostly know as 'Yahoo' boys.

Although no official statement has been released by the FBI as regards this claim, United States attorney, Nick Hanna, who recently briefed the public while the names of the 80 Nigerians who got arrested were released, stated that, pertaining the arrests made so far, "This indictment sends a message that we will identify perpetrators - no matter where they reside - and we will cut off the flow of ill-gotten gains."

As such, some social media users have accepted @gospeljosiah's tweet as the gospel truth and are now warning 'Yahoo' boys to watch their back as the day of reckoning beckons.

Meanwhile, the personal assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on new media, Bashir Ahmad, has cautioned against tagging Nigerians of Igbo extraction as criminals because of those recently arrested over fraud in the United States.

Seventy-seven of the suspects arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are said to be of Igbo extraction.
